Glad you responded - I was racking what's left of my brains to try and remember what our sub was! Good thing your Chair keeps himself up to speed.

South Eastern and, I think the group subs are £10/year. Could be mistaken...

For me the answer is clear.
It Rospa every time because of their history of demanding regular tests to maintain a qualification.
I'm not bothered about the old Romanians and Bulgarians but the Old Etonians scare me rigid.

Used to belong to South of London Advanced Motorists - I remember paying subs of £10 a year. On its' website, it's now £12 a year. They don't do much.

£20 for Bristol Advanced Motorists, having attended two of their events, is worthwhile in my opinion - they seem to have lots of going on, with plenty of keen members!

I wish! We have a small proportion of our 300 strong membership who I would describe as 'keen' - it's the same faces that turn up for all events be them driving, training, social etc. We have a large chunk who do nothing apart from pay their subs but I guess that's like many clubs and societies.

I have been active in a few societies over the years in different walks of life and this is pretty much the norm. In my experience getting enough really engaged people to fill the committee is sometimes enough of a battle in itself.
