I think my dad'll keep the tax discs in our Galaxy there.

Just because we have every single disc since my granddad bought the car in 2006 so they might be worth something when we're all old and frail.

(Well, except for the ones whom are old and frail already ;) )

Well. I don't give a crap anyway. They're my parents' cars, I'll let them do what they want xD

Within reason, then yes, of course.

A century from now, a collector will take some tax discs to the antiques roadshow where Angela Rippon will ask about them. She never gets any older.

Hang onto them. They might still be worthless one day.

Ah, but someone will turn up with one that was accidently printed upside-down and it'll be worth over 10p.

To be quite frank, my parents are so unobservant and lazy that there's a good chance those tax discs will remain in the cars for however long we have it.

Good grief. You should have them removed from your parents car immediately! Apparently people are less stupid if they have them removed. Although perhaps there is some kind of sliding 'stupidity/time' scale for this? There could be, but I'm too lazy to check. Maybe you could ask somebody on Radio 4...

Still haven't removed mine and still getting stupider by the day. 8)

They have to do it themselves. Otherwise they remain stupid, even if it's less obvious to other road users.

No doubt you are an expert in stupidity as well as bigotry. I can tell that by the levels you have displayed so far, that you have honed your skills over many years.

Thankfully, I am too busy admiring my tax discs to notice. They really complement my cars.

Some people take the trouble to keep up-to-date with all things motoring related and generally take an interest in keeping both their car in good repair and themselves informed. It's kind of what good drivers do. How they behave on the road and how they present their car reflects this.

However, most people take a different attitude...
