Ok i know the latest Highway Code was produced in 2007 but on the second page on my copy it says 'tenth impression 2010'

Can anyone tell me if that is the latest version or is there a more new edition?

When are we going to get a version that will be slimmed down to something that a good proportion of road users will be bothered to read, remember and benefit from?

A few weeks ago I was wondering if there was a more up to date version than 2007. Perhaps a quick perusal of the online version might help? You will be able to see any amendments to your version, but I haven't done it yet. I have just gone through 'Know your traffic signs' which I downloaded. Not a pleasant experience! You would think major revisions would be more actively advertised. I doubt many people have re-read it since passing their tests many years ago.

SEOT: Is that Sheriff's Explosive Ordnance Team or Sorted End Of Thread?

Maybe the latter, if you're thinking that this is (yet) another thread that Dave's put the mockers on!
