Thanks to the wonders of eBay, it seems I may have a new project. (Alfa 156)

The hard part is I need to move the car from Blackpool to Yeovil and the car is currently in a non running state.

I have thought about hiring a trailer but I wouldn't have a vehicle capable of towing that kind of weight.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in Advance

You could ask this guy. http://www.jrmc.abel.co.uk/ I don't know how much he'll charge though.

Good luck with the project, sounds interesting. :)

Sounds like you are going to need to pay a removal service. Unless you can take the car to bits and transport it in a van but then you would need an engine crane which will be more expensive alone than a removal service.

Thanks. I had found the links, I was just wondering if anyone here had experience with such things and had contacts etc.

I have a mate with a four wheeled car trailer, and a vehicle capable of towing it, if Micks stuff doesn't work out for you, give me a shout and I'll ask hin if he's interested, and how much etc
