True, but if you bought the upgraded E-type it would still be worth a new Aston in 10 years, where the 10 year old Aston wouldn't be worth the cost of a classic Mini.....

At least it's not M Ludd, Esq. :lol:

My 3.8 Jaguar of choice wouldn't be upgraded to modern standards. I'd be happy with one that was fully up to the original as-built standard, despite the unflattering comments that some might make about the build standards of cars of that era.
