I don't know if the formula for parking works or not, but I do know that the link you have posted doesn't work. Has something been missed from the link? :D

Picture this senario.

Driver causes traffic gridlock as she/he calculates the perfect angle to reverse park in busy shopping street. :lol:

Seriously though, there are so many things to take into account. Speed of manoeuvre, size of vehicle, space avaliable, steering lock etc. I hardly think science is going to solve the problem for most people, unless the car is fitted with an automatic parking facility.

Never climb a fence...much easier to sit on it!!
