I hope you secured it well - I still remeber he chap who sat an unsecured first aid box on the rear parcel shelf which flew forward in heavy braking and caused him quite a serious injury to the back of his head !!

For Christmas, I got my loyal servant...

New front wipers and two death-defying trips? :D Okay, well, damage-risking trips at any rate. I make a rubbish Santa for my car. But I did remember the garage I keep taking it to for every little complaint. :D

Not a sausage here!

Eileen and I didn't even exchange Christmas cards. We wished each other Merry Christmas etc., and it didn't involve major expenditure on any account whatsoever

Whenever we go out shopping together these days it's one long howl of "How much?" from me, and that keep things reasonably in check. No cheques, no plastic cards being flashed around, and not much cash either. We don't go in for spending money unless it is something we really need, or would derive clear benefit from.

....so that rules out limit handling courses, and lots of other things! :)

Best wishes all,
Scrooge.

Sadly no Santa didn't get me anything for the car. I did however treat the car to some new polish but its too cold to use it :( I'm currently trying to find her a temp gauge which sits in the car but tells the outside temp :)
