I think they should just paint the damn road though, it's much clearer.

I wish they had too. You know I suppose ive learnt a valuable lesson in that you should check and double check what you are doing. If there had been markings on the road then of course i wouldnt of parked there.

I guess the signs must be right as this is in the town centre. Though the fact that there is a sign asking for them to be illuminated means that others havent seen them either

the planning application is not for the sign, but for a nearby restaurant/takeaway.
