With apologies to those on other Advanced Fora for this repetition, and this "advert" has been cleared with this Group Owner.

The recently issued IAM Draft National Observer Training Scheme (NOTS) for comments by Groups by 23rd October contains:

"Classroom sessions are designed to deliver the knowledge aspect of the scheme and should be based on all resource material as outlined earlier"

In order to avoid every group "re-inventing the wheel", ideal bases for any theory course are the well received amendable training resource PowerPoint presentation computer CDs on Advanced Driving / Motorcycling and Observer Training.

These are often available on Ebay (search for "Advanced Driving") but remain available at a very modest cost to IAM and RoADA Groups and individuals at a lower cost direct - see www.flexibase.org.uk for details.
