Hi all,

I wanted to put a photo on here but cannot work out how, anybody able to explain (in english not computer speak)

Hi Ivor,

You need to store your photo on the internet and then put a link in your post to the photo in question.

Take a look at http://www.photobucket.com for example of a place to store. Once the photo is there, you can easily get a link which can then be cut/pasted into your post here.

If you then use the 'Img' button above it will display the photo in your post rather than the reader having to click on the link.

Hope that makes sense.

When using a site to store photos and then putting then on forums such as this one the SIZE of the photo is crucial

Most photo storing sites have the option to resize the photos

Photobucket has the option to upload them onto their site at a certain size which saves resizing them later

I find that a good size for photos is 640x480 - certainly no bigger


Perhaps I can be of use via the PM system where you could work through it with me :idea:
