Active road safety survey

This needs to be completed by the end of August.

The backgroud to this is largely the road safety cretins wish for a blanket 40 mph non motorway speed limt, so if you care about your driving, at least give it a shot of your views.

Thanks for the link Nigel, I noticed the lack of driver improvement in the 'how to reduce casualties' question - 4 I think.

As usual it appears they like to put the emphasis on some organisation / body for improving the situation as opposed to looking at the individuals.

Yes the survey multi-choice answers are very biased towards using 'technology' to improve road safety.

Personally, I believe a lot more could be done on driver education, training and attitude...it's a harder nut to crack but would ulitimately make the technology redundant.

Looking at it another way, maybe improving public transport so it is a viable alternative to driving would have a positive effect by reducing the number of cars on the road :D

I agree with Martine it was very biased towards Technology.
I put down that we require more Traffic Police I have yet to see a speed camera catch a drunk driver.
