They could practice overtaking each other.... purely for educational purposes in connection with that other recent topic.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

I like your thinking as long as although jay has 120bhp on me but a 4 wheel drive system plus his car is limited to about 100mph or was.

We have plenty of energy for driving we where late comeing back from our group last sunday.

Been playing on proving grounds again? ;)

If you think it's all about power, you haven't been reading Stressed Dave's posts, have you....

The HPC road driving code precludes driving in convoy. I think there are different reasons for this. One issue is the way a convoy looks to other road users. Another is that from the points of view of enjoying the drive and developing your driving it is better to drive your own drive than to follow another driver.

By the way in case there is any confusion you cannot sign up by posting here. The organizer of the day is not a member of this forum.

It should be a great day for anyone entbusiastc about their driving.

Didnt get it that fast though, having too much fun bouncing off the limiter in 2nd between tight corners :D

Did demonstrate a few overtakes though.

Limiter is being removed next week anyway and it will read in mph.

Hmm, what could one do with a 180mph speedo??

I went a few years ago and as a direct result joined the IAM, then Rospa, and recently completed the Master Driver's Course with Cadence.
You can take it from me that it's a worthwhile event. :D

Oh no it ain't; not if you're talking about impressive rates of progress on or off road.

All I claim are: reasonably swift progress when I feel like it, a fairly high level of smoothness, and a respectable level of safety.

....but there won't be much evidence of The System being applied consistently.

Best wishes all,
Dave.
