Great result - it's really nice to have the positive comments on top of the pass.

Why not HPC? Go for it :D

Congratulations on your pass - it sounds like it was very well deserved.

Eeek, I don't think I'm ready/good enough for HPC yet - maybe in time! I might think about observer training, it would be good to pass on AD skills to others.

The other benefit of training is that you need to know your subject matter a little more than the 'trainee'

The entry course is essentially in two halves, the 1/2 day assessment and then the 2 day entry course. This is so that if you're not ready to do the full course, you haven't wasted a shed load of money :D It may be worthwhile to go for a 1/2 day assessment with one of the Gatekeepers to target what needs working on to get you up to the required standard to then come back and do the 2 day entry course. Once you understand what needs fixing, I think you'll be able to target your route there, be it through RoSPA, ADUK days, self-study or paid-for coaching :D

Exactly so.

Look on the half day assessment as half a day of first-class coaching - an investment in its own right - and then decide on the best options for future development from there.
