Just to add one more entry to my 'diary' Thanks to Gareth for the drive yesterday. Another illuminating and interesting drive. These three drives have proved very useful and I am going to continue this theme if I can by going for as many drives as possible. So who else is interested in going for a drive? Not just specific training but just 'driving enthuiasts' enjoying the open road. Anyway I will stop 'penning' my diary and boring everyone now, but thanks once again to those who responded to my plea.

Hello Brian,

I'll happily meet up with you if you like. I can provide some good examples of how it shouldn't be done.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

Ah well I know I said I wouldn't bore you anymore but..... thanks to GS for subjecting himself to my driving yesterday evening. Another interesting and educational drive. As I have mentioned before I have found these drives very worthwhile and wish i could continue the trend .. so if anyone fancies a drive out one evening in the sunny south......
Regards
Brian

Hi guys
I just can't stop can I ?
Well as Police_Driver writes elsewhere we went for a drive together yesterday evening. Really enjoyed it so thanks to P_D for that and for his comments and drive. Am keeping up these drives as I feel they really are a benefit as well as being good fun too.

Maybe we could have a sticky thread for people willing to give observed runs and their locations? I also had the pleasure of a demo run from Gareth and then a rerun of a similar route with me behind the wheel :D

Some invaluable tips and also great fun :D

Mr Allport, you are SE London, not too far from me... fancy meeting up for a drive? And anyone else for that matter, who can get to South London or Surrey?

Enjoyed the drive last night with Brian, all be it my sense of NSL roads leaves a lot to be desired, they have all been changed to 40 or 50! Oh and driving at dusk can be really tiresome on the eyes. We had fun driving and discussing some of the differences between the various civilian institutes and police training...

Just thought I would add to my saga. Went for a drive with Darren yesterday evening. Tried a slightly different format of taking it in turns to drive the same route. And we had the added pleasure of an extra observer sat in the back. Anyway thanks to Darren and James for the feedback. It is all useful.

Hi all
Had my Diploma retest this morning and just like to report that I passed. So thanks to all you chappies who subjected yourselves to my driving and ensured I kept up my standards for the test.
