Routing on Sat Navs - how to do it

Gareth,
I have a nuvi 710 which supports routes. If they come through in gpx. format as most HPC routes do I have no problem. It was just watching Mark's video and trying to follow it that caused problems.

Mark has just put another video together giving a fuller explanation but it seems to be sticking at 1:26. I watched enough to see that he was using TYRE, so that may well be th eanswer I needed.

I have not watched the You Tube videos so apologies if this is already covered in them...

There is a handy little utility that is free which you can use to convert routes from various formats to alot of others which may be of help. It can be downloaded from here:
