If you've got £8000-£10,000 to spend on a car..and a Mondeo is the first thing to come to mind.....

Well...you go figure...

You wanted to provoke a response by your two word post...

So there you go..!

I think this covers all three counts. Nice. Even better in Alfa Rosso (Red)

That's the idea Mike...

Although, having sat next to you over many miles of twisting roads, you'd not be able to throw that thing about much...

I should have expected that from S1.

Isn't it the BMW drivers that are invariably the problem though?

Just as a matter of interest, what are you driving these days Nigel?

Best wishes all,
Dave.

It might have limited them to beemers in 1987-1994....perhaps..

but nowadays...with every Shane, Kylie and Dwayne cruising in the bavarian export....i'm afraid not...

I've thought about getting rid of mine a couple of times, now I've rebuilt it, and used it for a couple of years, I'm sorta bored with it.....but what next ?

I like the porshe 911 but can't afford one, nothing else I've driven ( within a sensible few grand weekend toy budget) offers any sort of enjoyment.....they are all so bland.

To amuse me it needs to have a decent exhaust note, sensible amount of power, rear wheel drive, enough room to put the kids in, & stick to the road like poo to a blanket.

I may well go backwards in time, the old Reliant Scimitars are cheap, fun, and not subject to all this emission rubbish.

How about something Japanese? Supra (not sure how big your kids are!!!), Skyline GT-S, etc?
