Mini roundabouts

There's a mini roundabout near me like that - white mini, plus red brick around it.

1st exit left is a housing estate, 2nd exit straight over is the main road, and right is Tesco's.

Always traffic queueing to go s-over due to railway crossing and traffic lights etc., so I often hop over the red stuff to go to tesco's. Otherwise I'd be sitting there for 20 mins or so with my destination in sight.

You probably aren't supposed to drive on it; I guess in this case it's for delivery lorries, and you should be aware that people coming onto the roundabout from the "striaght over" exit might not be expecting you to appear, if they don't think you should drive on the red bit. So take care

Probably one who has never been on a bike or has no idea about road surface issues for bikes.

Perhaps they are trying to make you go around rather than over, by making it as unpleasant as possible.
