Just pre-ordered the high speed Isle of man dvd from bespoke, can't wait!

Yes, I can't wait for mine to arrive too. He's also started 'ClubDriving', which it seems is (you'd never guess) a driving club. I'm a little too low on the ladder to join yet, I doubt I'd get through his three hour driving test. Some of the events being organised look quite good though

has anyone got their copy yet?

Mark has said that they will be a few more weeks yet. Was really looking forward to seeing it as well

Typical, another delay and I've heard nothing telling me that from bespoke. I had big problems with the commentary DVD too Products might be good but the customer service is terrible, and they're pricey too!

It is a shame that we've not heard directly from Mark about the delay, but I'm sure that he's a busy chap, and the delay may not be his fault. Such is life

I don't think these DVDs are pricey. Lets face it, buying the latest DVD releases costs more, and you'll probably not watch those films as much as one of the Bespoke DVDs.

You can join as an associate which means you don't need to pass an assessment and still be eligible for all the events etc.... and a £5 discount on Bespoke DVDs!

I'm considering buying either the Cadence commentary film, the Bespoke commentary film or the Bespoke Advanced Roadcraft film, I already have Roadcraft, both book and DVD - are these other films worth the additional investment?

I own both Cadence and Bespoke DVDs and can highly recommend Bespoke's as by far the best in quality of picture and consistent clarity of commentary.

With regard to cost, I suggest it is unfair to compare them with commercial entertainment DVDs which sell in a large quantity.

Training DVDs are expensive to make but the sales numbers, apart from perhaps Roadcracft Video / DVD, and never going to be anywhere near as large as entertainment ones.

still waiting for the new DVD which was to go on general release April 1st, pre-orders were reckoned last week in March....anyone got theirs yet?

it's just dropped through the door today along with a letter of apology and a 50% discount on their next DVD, to be released Winter 2007, which will be track-based and cover skid control and on-limit handling

i'll give it a watch tonight and let you know if it's as good as the previous ones were

well, i think this is what musicians call the "difficult third album". a lot of stuff which has already been covered in the previous dvds is repeated, nothing groundbreaking or new... not enough in depth discussion on the new techniques covered like heel & toe - he shows what it is while static but doesn't follow it through step by step on the road like i would expect

camera angles and quality isn't as good as before, a lot of footage repeated throughout the dvd

i'll probably still buy the next one, but this one on first watching didn't quite live up to my high-expectations

he uses a lovely manual-boxed porsche 911 (993 model i think) throughout - <sigh> one day.....

i'll post some screenshots later

The 996 is for sale on autobahn's site and it turns out that it's previous owner was my boss. Confused me no end when the car appeared and I recognised the plate. Didn't realise the boss had sold it on.

The sports exhaust sounds great on it!
