Right all, its time I come clean and tell you all all about something. Some of you may have already seen this post on T-A and vice versa, but there you go.I didn't want to tell you in case it all went wrong, and now it has, I can't keep it in anymore. I need to come clean and let you know how I messed up. I failed, big time, I just need to get it off my chest.

Basically some jobs in our Roads Policing unit have come up, I applied and was lucky enough to get through the papersift.

I had an interview last week and to be honest, I don't think it went very well at all.

Tonight I got a phonecall from my Sergeant expressing his concerns. He had recieved an e-mail from the Traffic Inspector to inform him that I will be starting on the Roads Policing Unit as a Traffic Cop before the 1st of April. And you thought it was bad news. I am off for a drink.

They have decreased...on average by half their original numbers.......Luke's intake of trainee traffic cops will be replacing those cops who have retired, or will be due for retirement....

Very true. There are a load of 30 year retirers this year, and most of the new intake will be to replace these over the year. Not all will be starting early.

However, I am led to believe they are increasing the amount of T/C's by approx 20 across the entire force, which means about 2 per area/team.
