Hi, im new, just thought I would introduce myself. Im currently an associate member of the IAM and I thought I would join this forum for some good advice. My name is Joe Davies. Im 18 and I live in Worcestershire. Keen on safe driving and the law. I look forward to contributing to some good posts on here. :D

I see you are Printer Mike, I used to be in that profession. What printing are you in? Flexo, Litho, gravure, letterpress, rotary, digital?? I bet your litho

Youre right on the nose there Joe, yes Litho, but not on paper.

On what then? I was flexo: narrow web press I was an Edale operator until the company went bust :( Give me any substrate you like, I have most probably printed on it lol :roll:

Metal Dec; flat sheet. We make most of the aerosols that you buy including Gillette (the best a man can get) Right Guard, Pantene etc. Also a lot of biscuit tins, those fancy tins that contain Malt Whisky and sweet tins Cadbury's Roses, Celebrations and Quality Street.

OO yea cool, we used to print milk carton labels, sandwhich box labels, royal mail tags, 3M passport paper god the list is endless. You work for a company called Rexam by any chance?

No! CarnaudMetalBox (Aerosols ) UK. Used to be a British company then the French bought in now it's an American company....worldwide
