I never thought about that before. I just thought it was quite a good night shot of the bridge, clear of the scaffolding that has enveloped sections of it for the last few years. TBH, neither bridge over the Forth looks that good just now :roll:

That would be because I'm a dimwit who can't tell the difference between a road bridge and a rail bridge! :roll:

From memory, when I was making those, I looked for an image of a "bridge", rather than "road bridge" or any other sort of bridge. Despite the fame of the bridge in question, the fact it was a rail bridge had confined itself in one of the dark recesses of my brain!

Still, it's a nice picture...

I like it. One of my observer routes is on the road bridge so I get an excellent view of the rail one.
