Oh yes please. :D

The paper version of this story showed a map with a huge looping route around Scotland - looks and sounds like a whole lotta fun to me. Any comments from our Scotish contingent?

If you draw a line Dundee to Perth to Stirling and across to Glasgow virtually all the roads north of that are sublime, (except the A9 Perth To Inverness) my personal favourites are the A93 through Glenshee to Braemar and the A835 to Ullapool. virtually Camera free, although the roads policed by Central Scotland Police in the Lochearnhead/Killin area are heavily policed at the weekends.

Anyone think the police might start taking an extra interest in those roads...?

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find they do, which could soon take the shine off things if you're unlucky.

This supercar weekend sounds all very nice, but to a poor OAP it sounds a bit expensive. I'll lend you a nice little 406 for a weekend, and I'm sure I can do you a better price than £1500, or whatever it is. Book early though, I expect there'll be a huge demand.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

I guess the map is a bit of a magnet to enforcement, but I have heard of Rio Prestige who are based on the other side of Livingston from where I live.

A few of the car and bike IAM folks up here are members of the Edinburgh Classic Car Club, and enjoy themselves that way.

On a personal note, when I was a younger chap me and a mate hired a diesel Peugeot 306, drove from Glenrothes to John O'Groats, Durness and back to Glenrothes in a day - that was good fun.

Very nice idea, but given the surrounding countryside, I'd much prefer my old 0-to-60-in-three-hours-Landrover any day!
