Xmas list?

So being practical (i.e no DB9s/Gallardos) what would you like to receive this Christmas from your beloved that's car/bike related?

On a related note: anyone tried the retro-fitted tyre pressure sensors that feed realtime info to the driver whilst driving? There was one featured on The Gadget Show but I don't know if they're any good.

One of the elise racing drivers (who's company is linked to above) has been saying how useful they are while racing to know if you've overheated a particular tyre and noticing how tyre temperatures relate to available grip - but I don't know how useful they would be on a road car.

Yes that's the job (I like gadgets but as you say, might be OTT for road use - esp. at £179!).

BMW M5 Touring Defo lots of power and toys with room for my daughter and her pushchair etc.

As for the tyre pressure kit its nice but I get on with checking mine once a week with a gauge so wouldn't retro fit but would a nice feature on a future car.

Track drivers in particular want to monitor the pressures as they change with temperature not only during the course of a day but during a particular session.

I have a car with factory fitted tyre pressure display, though not one I take on track. It is interesting if not terribly useful to see how significantly the pressures rise with warmth - on an ordinary gentle journey by about 10 to 15%.
