Scratch free paint

Some clever-clogs came up with paint which didn't need cleaning.

Rather ironically, perhaps, for the cleaning and polishing fetishists (can you tell I don't clean my vehicles too often? ;) ), it doesn't rely on a high-shine finish.

Instead the paint has a high 'wax' content, so that muck can't 'cling' to it.

The end result, though, is a matt finish.

I wonder if they want a test vehicle for that. After a drive up the Fosse Way recently I spent 8 hours detailing out the scratches and there are still some I can't shift.

In fact, I'd pay good money for paint that heals itself.
