Yes I did have a drive around the block...most expensive car I've ever driven but I would never buy one no matter how rich I was.

Anyone else feel the same about this or another 'prestige' car?

They are ridiculous, but the Phantom seemed to fit in rather well when I was last in Monaco :o Not quite the same as Bristol

And? So how did it drive?

The most expensive I've ever driven was (then) the most expensive car in production - a Jag XJ220! (on the track not the public highway though) (only two laps with strict instructions!)

I had the pleasure of driving an associates car - a red '97 Ferrari - a few years ago - it was wider than I thought it would be..........

Almost completely detached from driving...I could have been sitting my most comfy chair in the lounge watching a TV of the world going by...but I guess that's the point really.

If I could afford one, I'd have it - I just think it looks the mutts nuts :-)
Of course, if I could have one of them I'd have a stable full of the other stuff I want...I feel a

coming on :-)

Yes, I certainly feel the same about that class of car, although Jaguars still have some appeal.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

Was it still the same width after you'd driven it?

Best wishes all,
Dave.

I agree with you Rog, only drive one Ferrari a 208 Turbo, possibley the only one in Scotland (an Italian market special) and left hand drive. The cabin was cramped, the visibility restricted, the turning circle was as bad as a 110 Land Rover, and the handbrake didn't hold when I had to take a cut to negotiate a junction.

Certainly an experinece

Pah!

It's a car. Slow, fat and ugly. Probably handles like a sick pig with a limp. I'll take my motorbike anyday, unless someone decides to give Zondas away.
