I've just passed my test!! Phew - I was very nervous this morning, of course! I made a few errors, but I think that was due to nerves. I thought I'd failed, as when the test was finished, the examiner said "now, if your observer had been sat in the back, do you think he'd have been happy with what you've just done?" I thought oh sh!t, I've fluffed it, before he went on to say I did very well and in his opinion, had natural ability

A lot of my skills have been improved dramatically by everyone on these forums, I think, so a massive thank you to you all for your expert advice, both here and on the driving days I've attended. Can't wait to go on and improve even further :D

Excellent - very well done. :D

I think the examiner's question was a little unfair...cheeky so and so!

I remember mine saying something like: "before I do a debrief let me just say I will be recommending you for membership...now then..." and went on to give the most detailed and comprehensive debrief you can imagine and all from memory! I wish I could do that.

Well done :) (Others have also commented on the "natural ability" by the way ;))

Good stuff :-) Passing anything is a great feeling, especially when you've worked hard at it.

Congratulations! After our first drive together I was amazed that you were self-taught, so I'm pleased, but not surprised that you passed.

Does your local group offer any further courses, or is it HPC next?

Thanks for all your complimentary comments! I dunno whether to go for a RoSPA gold next, or the Observer route...plenty of time to mull it over, tho'. I'll get in touch with my local group n see what I could do there. :P

Why not HPC? Go for it :D

Congratulations on your pass - it sounds like it was very well deserved.
