Has anyone here tried these? I see there are some more lined up for 2010. Are they good? Are they good fun? Is it value for money? What did you think of the instructors? Did you get enough 'track' time?

I went along last year. It was the first time I'd driven on a track, so a useful experience in terms of exploring (and getting a feel for) how my car behaves when I place demands on it I wouldn't in everyday road driving. In my case it was also helpful in terms of repeated opportunities to practice going through the system to get the car set up correctly for each corner. Definately value for money and plenty of track time I thought, although I was fortunate in that there were only two of us to an instructor rather than three so we worked on the basis of alternating 15 minutes on track / 15 minutes rest which was about the right balance.

I'd like to get along to another this year, but they are popular.
