Has Dave been on the forum lately (or others that we use)?

Just wondering if he's OK. I haven't seen anything from him for a week or two.

I noticed a passing comment from him on PH about not being able to log on here, but he was still reading the forum :?

Hello folks, I'm back at last - for good or ill - and opinions will vary on that!

Anyhow many thanks to Porker for raising the topic, and the rest of you for your concern and kind comments.

Truth is things have been a bit up and down on the domestic front, and what with one thing or another my forum activity has also been a bit patchy. I've dropped out of Parkers and Traffic Answers, but I've spent some time with PistonHeads, as you know, and I've kept reading topics here.

Hehe, after reading that stuff about all the old fogies here, I thought you could do with a 23 year old(1) back again to balance things up a bit.

(1) My mental age is still a good deal less than that. :P

Very best wishes to everyone,
Dave.

Phew - thought you'd kicked the bucket!

Nice to have you back Mr. SSS - with your own unique postings.

You're welcome.

While there may be some things on which we disagree, I wouldn't want there to be noone to disagree with.

No, I haven't kicked the bucket. A bit of ass kicking seems much more appealing, but there's so many candidates to choose from! Are you ready for a rant about the political scene?

Best wishes all,
David.

Go on then...kick things off with your view of the 3 main political parties without using the words: corrupt, stealth-tax, power-crazed, short-term, inept...

Why not. It just about sums up politics.

Hiya Nigel,

Agreed. There is still no sign of any party unveiling the sort of policies I want to be hearing about, and there isn't much time left, so I'm still in the 'unlikely to vote' camp and, regrettably, likely to remain there.

Best wishes all,
Dave.
