Where to park?

It's a sunny day. All other things being equal, would you choose to...
(a) Park in an unshaded spot, preserving your car from tree detritus and bird droppings but resulting in a very hot car
or
(b) Park in the shade keeping the temperature down but risking the defilement.

Personally I'd try for (c) - park where it would be shaded by a building, or if at home (d) put it in the garage.

Failing that I'd go for (a), opening a window is easier than cleaning dried in "tree sap" (it's actually honeydew from aphids) and seagull "droppings" off the body. Not to mention the inability to see if you get a summer shower - tree sap creates a horrible smeary mess if you need to use the wipers.

Anywhere but under a tree, fit some wind deflectors

And open the windows a bit. :)

Anywhere that's nowhere near other people! Keep well away from the door bangers

Then when returning, open all the windows for a bit then wack on the AC 8)

I'd vote for - as far away as possible from the door bangers... not under trees.
I'd never worry about the shade thing - if I park it in shade, 3 hours later it'll be in the sun anyway.

also up here in Aberdeen it's never *that* hot :)
