Frankly a quite sickening verdict

Sounds like a clear case of death by dangerous/careless driving.

I think the dr title and her age bought her some leniency had she been a young person god forbid a male, I think she would of been considered impatient and careless performing an overtake on what appears to be a blind bend and he cyclist coming the other way should of bee safe from a car coming towards her across the cyclist PRIORITY, no doubt why the police felt here was a case.

To the average driver 'safe' is not having accidents. To an advanced driver 'safe' is not being vulnerable to an accident.
