Can anybody shed any light on these? They belonged to a friend's dad and may be something to do with his time as a bus driver?

We have a similar thing where I work (bus driving) for every year where you don't have any accidents that are your fault then you get a certificate, and after so many years you start to get the badges that you have shown here, whoever got the 31 years badge has done well in an industry now where management try and blame everything on their drivers.
