I was always told to slow down, for all the reasons mentioned here and my dad does it too and if my dad does it then it is The Law

But I will sometimes put my foot down through one if the kids are in the car as they like it, but very rarely.

Other thing I notice is that taxi drivers seem to do this without a second thought.

Any reason why?
