This morning whilst on a lesson, I was undertaken by a driver who entered a solid white line 24hr cycle lane to carry out the manoeuvre.

The stretch road in question is a 30mph dual cariageway, and untill two or three months ago had two lanes in each direction, then the left hand lane on the W to E carriageway was made into a cycle lane, see here, the current road markings are not shown on this link https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@50.73764 ... a=!3m1!1e3
We were travelling in an West to East direction at 30mph.

Yep I've had just this here and here.

Not sure if it's because they think it's OK or are just so impatient with a 'stupid learner doing the speed limit'.

Didn't both used to be 40s? Or were you undertaken while doing 40?
