What did he introduce?


I think he introduced the legislation that means all new domestic gas boilers fitted in the UK have to be the condensing type. AIUI condensing boilers are more efficient than earlier designs, but they tend to be more complex and unreliable, and they can prove to have a relatively short service life, so overall they do not make economic sense in all cases. HTH.
