On the whole..I would say yes...

The IAM paid for my mileage..so that was nice.....and appreciated..

The conference was well organised and the food at lunchtime was superb.

The venue, Dunston Park RaceCourse..is a nice place anyway..so that added to the day.

The guest speakers were very good and ranged from the new Chief Exec of the DSA to a Planner from the Highways Agency...

The information and content of the speeches was only bettered by the free gifts at the conference.....

All in all..a good day...

I was also in attendance at the National Conference! It was a good day, the new Chief Exec of DSA talk was very informative although I did wish she would have asked if there were any questions!
The guy from the Highways Agency made a very interesting talk - he was funny too!
