New member: Saying hello!

Hi all. New memeber who has just signed up...just saying hello!

I'm 20 years old. Passed my IAM when I turned 18. I might proove usefull when it comes to any forum topics related to younger drivers.

Looking forward to participating in the forum and having some good discussions.

Aaah the same age as I was (roughly) when I passed my IAM test nearly 10 years ago <eek, I'm not that old...am I????>. Welcome.

I feel like making a thread titled "What do you drive...what do you want to drive?" and ask people to post about their car and 1 car they would like to own. Just want to check if this has been done recently? I don't want to be re-posting something that has already been done..

I posted a test drive / what have you driven thread recently. It didnt go down that well...although there were some nice replies too

Just to follow the trend, I'm even younger - will be 19 in December. Unfortunately, due to money issues, I was a bit late taking my standard DSA test (passed exactly 3 months ago). I'm looking to join an IAM/RoSPA group when I move off to Cardiff Uni in a few weeks.

Good on you! I've been toying with the idea of that....nation B racing liscense or IAM observer for my next challenge. I think ideally I should have gone onto RoSPA after my IAM test but was a bit burnt out by then.

Welcome aboard Tav. I managed to delay doing my advanced driver training until 11 years after passing my test, so I had a few bad habits to undo. Passed RoSPA on Tuesday though thanks to a lot of help from this forums

Think of what you have got out of your Advanced driving then think about puting something back... especially as you mention the youth factor which is on your side. Being an Observer will help you keep your skills sharp.

Nice to have another Aberdeen resident on the forum.
