What 'advanced' techniques to include?

All I can say is, that from experience at 6 different test centres, the examiners make it clear in their briefing for the maneuver that they expect a roughly right angle approach.

I've never tried getting a learner to do anything less than this, just to see what happens. I won't take responsibility for a potential test fail just to feed my curiosity!
