Theory test tomorrow...

For discussion of topics relating to the Driving Standards Agency Learner Test (DSA L Test) and contribution by ADI's (Approved Driving Instructors)

Hey!

First of, good forum :P

Basically, I've got my theory test tomorrow and my instructor has been going over it with me as well as taking practise tests at home. The thing is, no matter how much I read the highway code, I keep failing these practise tests by 2 or 3 questions. I'm okay with the hazard perception part but when it comes to the actual test, I'm at a loss. Anyone help?

Cheers,

Jack

Hi Jack, and welcome to the forum.

I know it's a bit late now, but the advice I give my pupils is to read the Highway code, Driving the essential skills, and the department for transports Know your traffic signs. Boring I know, but these three books should contain all the information you need for the theory test.

As you have been going through theory, and doing practice papers with your instructor, is there a particular area where you are consistantly weak?

I'm sure I don't need to tell you this but flag any questions you are not sure about, and go back to them later.

All the best Nigel ADI
