I remember seeing these but could think where! Bit of googling provided the answer but I'll let others have the joy rather than telling all here, now.

That'll be the Glasdon one? You also get it with stickers for overhead or underground cables etc.

Not technically a road sign but a marker post before some one starts shouting about it not being compliant with the Regs etc etc etc. Although I am sure the users have authorisation :roll:

I assume it means "Bear right only".

That's surprising...I thought the white arrows in a blue circle meant: 'if you are passing this sign you must do so on this side' - but clearly this is not the case. How confusing.


The blue sign in question is not a permitted variant of any sign prescribed by TSRGD - as such it has no meaning whatsoever. The green arrow is a permitted variant and means "you may cross the stop line ONLY if you proceed in the direction indicated (and can do so safely)".

Marker posts do actually fall within the scope of TSRGD, old chap! :wink: But yes there is a blanket special direction in place.....
