Beware of "pink" licenses!

As I see it, the only positive about the new A or B system is that some instructors who struggled to get a good grade previously may look better under the new system, a poor 4 now becomes a B. A 5 is now the same as a 6.

The downside is basically the same as above, a poor 4 is now a B which could be argued is not far from being an A. A 5 is now the same as a 6. Only the grade 6s possibly loose out on motivation to maintain their 6 and on bragging rights.

No doubt others will disagree.

There was an instructor at the Bournemout test centre on Monday, with Top Grade 6 liveried on the C pillar. I couldn't help thinking to myself what would he do if his check test grade had dropped on his next check test, but I suppose that's imaterial now with the new standards test.
