Was amazed when I received the email from the DVSA.

DVSA wrote:The fee for a car driving theory test will fall by £6 in October this year, taking the cost of a test from £31 to £25, with a further drop of £2 in October 2015.

Theory test fees for motorcycles and other categories of vehicle will also be reduced. The changes have been confirmed following a public consultation.

It would be a great opportunity for the advanced organisations to promote re-taking of the theory test (for fun). A bit like Barely Legal Drivers - if you pass, you "win" and AD course, if you fail, you "win" some extra lessons!!

Note: the email to which I refer was one that I recently subscribed to here https://public.govdelivery.com/accounts/UKDSA/subscriber/new?preferences=true#tab1. You can get alerts on such topics as highway code, info on learning to drive, etc.
