What does it mean? and when should it be used?

Dunno - I thought that was what you get at the back of a tractor...

Where has you seen it mentioned Kwaka?

It was one of the questions in the Driver CPC thoery test, never heard of it before. I've learnt what it means now, Its used in automatic vehicles when a gear is wished to be retained for longer before the gearbox changes up a gear

Hmmm well I could be wrong lol, I asked a friend of mine who's a trucker but he could be wrong. I've got my arctic driving lessons this week I'll ask the instructor and see what he says on the subject
