Possibly so. As you know, I have such an enormous range of experience and expertise, I can't possibly be right about all of it. Others will always need to decide for themselves whether it's good stuff, or complete hogwash.

Just a point about the advice and experience comments above; someone far wiser than I once said "Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own."

Learning from others is always possible, even if you learn how not to do something.

Nice to see someone fairly local. My initial reading of the forum made me think it was mainly based "down South"

I'm a member of the West Yorkshire group. I technically live in South Yorkshire but the group meets very locally to me so decided to give them a go.

I've not actually been assigned a tutor yet, so I can't comment too much.
