Hi,

I finally decided to join the forum after reading for a while.

I'm a member of a local RoADAR group and currently waiting to be assigned a tutor.

Hope to learn from the wealth of experience on here.

Thanks

Aye, and some of it might even be plausible.

Or, sometimes, mine, old fogies that we both are.
We still live and breathe though.
Always a commentary, spoken or not.
Keeps one safe. One hopes.

Hi, welcome to the forum. :)

Not too far from me. :)

Which local Rospa group are you a member of and what do you think of them?

Possibly so. As you know, I have such an enormous range of experience and expertise, I can't possibly be right about all of it. Others will always need to decide for themselves whether it's good stuff, or complete hogwash. 8)

Thanks for the welcome.

Just a point about the advice and experience comments above; someone far wiser than I once said "Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own."

Learning from others is always possible, even if you learn how not to do something.

Nice to see someone fairly local. My initial reading of the forum made me think it was mainly based "down South"

I'm a member of the West Yorkshire group. I technically live in South Yorkshire but the group meets very locally to me so decided to give them a go.

I've not actually been assigned a tutor yet, so I can't comment too much.

Will let people know. You'll probably be able to tell what I need to work on when I start with the questions.

Been on a waiting list for a while now... hopefully will get to start soon. I've just been flicking through "Roadcraft" and "The Highway Code" while I wait to be assigned a tutor.
