Hi MrToad!
Ah thats good, it makes sense to get as many people on ADUK as possible, means we can all connect and learn from each other, and i've plenty to learn!
Yes I've noticed the lowering of the speed limits, spend 90% of my faily commute at 20, seems to work traffic seems to flow nicely.
I had a drive with my observer plenty of country lanes, hoping to pick up a few routes as time goes on which are very much like the one I did on my first drive so I can practice the breaking and accelerating techniques as well as setting the steering.
I'm contemplating the South Wales drive need to check with the girlfriend see if there are any events planned that I don't know about yet.
Would that sort of event (South Wales) be good for an new IAM associate? Obviously there is the whole opportunity to drive these roads and practice what I've been picking up from my observer but is it possible to learn what others are doing differently / spot the mistakes i'm making?
The 3 in a car I find very daunting being so new to this i've so much to learn and whilst I appreciate the feedback on my driving as it helps improve my driving, thats a lot of people judging me!
I'm very much looking forward to my next drive with my observer!
