Queuing on roundabouts

Discussion on Advanced and Defensive Driving.

Hi I have a question, medium to large roundabouts, not traffic light controlled. In queuing traffic I would enter the roundabout and queue on the roundabout. I wouldn’t of course block an entrance, exit or stop on road markings telling you not to stop. I wouldn’t enter a smaller or mini roundabout unless my exit was clear, as this would all most certainly block access to other traffic. I am taking an advanced driving test shortly just wondered what advanced driver trainers think.

I do the same

If it is safe, legal and not inconvenient to others then there is no problem

I agree. If you are not compromising safety or being illegal and you are not obstructing others then sometimes there are no effective alternatives. I too do the same.

Keep doing what you're doing. No problem as long as you don't block entrances and exits.
