Gad what a handsome devil! Rather like a younger version of S1 - who must be getting on a bit now.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

Hark at you!

Now what's 48 + 17?

I haven't got enough fingers and toes for that!

Sorry pardon, I didn't mean you Soren.

Anyhow tomorrow is our 43rd wedding anniversary, so I'll leave you in peace for a while. We're off to the Ingleton area for the day, a bit of walking etc.

Take care all,
Dave.

Assuming you two lovebirds can tear yourself apart, you will love Safari. I've been twice now, and it's one of the best holdiays you can have. Whereabouts are you going, and for how long?

Ditto, very best wishes from me too. :)

Er, and watch your mirrors if there's any rhinos about. Those front ends could be quite intrusive!

Thanks Von.

Knee squeezing only takes place when the circumstances are suitable - which I am sure is just what you would expect of me.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

Went to Kenya 4 yrs ago, a week on safari and a week on the beach...magnificent.

Take a box of pencils and pens with you, sounds stupid but the poor little kids think you have given them the world when you hand one over...

Try the champagne breakfast balloon safari, well worth it!

So, if we can desist from commenting on exotic holidays for a moment ( as much as I hate to!) how often is the Roadcraft manual updated/revised? My copy is 2004 I think, so fairly up to date I should say, although no mention of ubiquitous England flags :) Actually one of these flags helped me today as I was negotiating some 'fast' country bends...... I could see that a car was approaching a hidden left junction( because of high hedges) from afar so I knew it wouldn't be all clear when I arrived, yet I was ready for the 'hazard' on arrival! :) All was well and can I suggest that not all England flag-wielding car owners have undergone a frontal labotomy!

I think 2004 is the most recent actually.

Ah, an up-dating process, good. Let's hope they've improved it.

In my 2001 edition page 11 contains a table with seven questions, and we are awarded points according to the answers we give.

My score clearly indicates that I am a complete menace and that disaster is probably just round the next corner!! :(

Best wishes all,
Dave.

Dont worry, this is my LAST entry until I return, I will not be here so please don't reply as I don't want to annoy the Moderators and go off topic.

Thanks for your thoughts, and I look forward to returning to the forum on my return. Im off to Tanzania and Zanzibar whoever asked me before!

Take Care, Safe Driving!
