Not sure about that...they are just different. Personally I think to be able to drive a rural road, you don't know, making excellent, safe progress is the epitome of advanced driving. It's something I'm working on!

The A370 out toward Weston, and then back up the minor B roads toward Gordano should provide a brief excursion from the city. Then back along A369, over the toll bridge and back into Clifton area of the city.

I'd need help with the routes as my knowledge of Bristol, although passable, only really extends to it being better than my knowledge of Cardiff or Birmingham. :(
