Hampshire RoADAR

Discussion on Advanced and Defensive Driving.

Evening all.

Is anyone involved in Hampshire RoADAR Group? I'd like to start training for the test but have emailed the group a few times now without any reply.

If somebody could pm me an email address or phone number then I'd be very grateful.

Many thanks

Hi wagstaf,

I am not familiar with the group itself but there is a contact telephone and emails on this page.

It is possible that the group email account has been SPAMed to death, I know that it is something that my local group sometimes has issues with.

Thanks Michael

Those are the email addresses I've used. I've also tried directory enquiries but to no avail.

I'll try from a different email address that might not be as susceptible for spam.

Used to be a member of the group and I know there was a bit of turnover within the committee last year so the contact details may not be up to date. Checking the new website it looks like the contact e-mail is for Bill Warbuton:

membership@roadar-hants.org.uk

If you don't get anywhere, I'm happy to check my old e-mails and see if I have any other contact details to try :D

If you don't have any luck with the Hampshire group, you may wish to try the RoADR Thames Valley Group : http://roadartvg.org.uk/

They're pretty active and receptive.

Depending where you live, you could also try the North Wiltshire Group http://northwiltsroadar.co.uk We are covering more and more of Wiltshire and do have members in Hampshire.

Seriously With a Local Group enquiry facility on their website and proactive HO staff, with the IAM you would have far better success getting someones attention.

But it is significantly more expensive (unless you can convince someone else to pay for it  )
