Just found this link on another forum and thought it'd give people something to read.

http://www.thecarconnection.com/index.a ... 69&sid=269

I've only quickly scanned a couple of pages and it seems usefull.

I would have added that to the link database, but its a dynamic link....might change.

I hadn't noticed the link database.

If I knew how I'd add it though!

How do you know if it's dynamic?

I dont let people add links to the system themselves, if I did, it would be full of junk. I decide what goes in there. We get *alot* of requests for links.

The link was http://www.thecarconnection.com/index.asp?n=158,269&sid=269

The .asp is a script
The n=158,269 is a variable passed into the script probably indicating article number in the datbase
The sid=269 is another variable.

If you look at some of the web addresses on this forum, or links database, or skid pan database you'll find the same thing. The site runs a back end database. Some of the software is custom written to suit (links database system etc), some of it GPL like this BB system.

Thank you for that Darren.

I will make a note of what to look out for.
