Correct lane for roundabout

So, if I understand you correctly, the turn left arrow on the left hand lane is there for guidance only. You can use it for going in another direction. If you did so, and no other drivers were adversely affected, then that would be okay. However, if in doing so you were involved in an accident, you could be prosecuted for DWDCA, or something similar, for being in that lane. In other words, the prosecution would take into account the fact that you were in a lane marked with arrows, yet you went in another direction.

That's my understanding, Sally. I don't know of any cases brought for inconsiderate driving with those as the sole facts, however.
